With regards to this service, the applicant may fill the renewal form online, however, they will need to print and present it at the Embassy in person.
Alternatively, if they choose not to fill the application online, we can provide an application at the time of the interview, which they will need to complete.

When the passport you applied for has been delivered to the Embassy, you will receive an email notification. In order to collect the new passport, you must present the applicant's current passport.
Adult applicants (18+) must collect their passport in person. If you cannot collect your passport in person, it is possible to arrange for a friend or relative to collect it on your behalf. You will need to confirm the details of the person nominated to collect the passport in writing and they will be asked to present ID in order to collect your passport.

The Certificate of Non-Impediment to Marriage is a document stating that, provided you have told the truth at the time of the application and provided that you are not married to anyone else at the time of the marriage, then there are no laws prohibiting an Australian national marrying in the country where you are marrying. We conduct no verifying checks in relation to issuing the certificate and this is clearly stated on the certificate as well. The certificate does not state whether either applicant is single.

The Australian Embassy can witness signatures on and endorse photos for drivers' licence renewal forms, but does NOT renew the licences.
Please contact the relevant road authority in Australia to obtain the necessary forms for renewing your licence while residing overseas.

I recently visited to Australian Embassy to get a certified copy of my passport for use in Australia. It was a very nice experience, not hostile at all compared to my other embassy visits (of other countries), and the consular officer himself was really nice.
